Educators are encouraged to revisit an older but well established model for environmental issues investigations to seamlessly and meaningfully integrate Language Arts, Math, and 3-D science. Investigating and Evaluating Environmental Issues and Actions has been internationally employed with success to provide a student-centered, place-based approach to relevance in science. Participants will interactively explore one or more issues to understand how this model can improve student motivation and performance in math, science, language arts, social studies and other disciplinary areas.
